Dictionaries

ASPNetSpell uses a precompiled .dic dictionary format.

.dic Dictionaries can be download for free in over 20 Languages.

In addition we offer free Medical, Scientific and Legal Dictionaries.

Working With Dictionaries

Installation of New Dictionaries:

1. Dictionaries can be downloaded for free from the links above on this page.
2. Unzip
3. Copy the .dic file to ~/ASPNetSpellInclude/Dictionaries/

Adding New Words:

1. Add 1 word per line to ~/ASPNetSpellInclude/Dictionaries/custom.txt

Removing Words:

1. Add 1 word per line to ~/ASPNetSpellInclude/Dictionaries/language-rules/banned-words.txt
